General Information
This 1969 Porsche 912 has been sitting in the basement Garage for years till we found it last month. All most 100% all original. The car is the way it was when purchased. We just had a full Engine and Transmission Rebuilt. From what we can tell the paint is all original except for the rear quarter. All panels are Original. This car is 100% Rust Free. The Second owner who we purchased the car from is from Tennessee and used the car as a weekend driver for him and his wife.
The 1969 912 was the last year for the longhood’s. Also was the only year for long wheel base and flared fenders. The 912 has risen in recent years, Was known as the “Poor Man’s Porsche” throughout the years it was a neglected model, and could be bought very cheaply. Once the classic Porsche Craze started with the 911’s the 912’s followed along. Porsche fraternity noticed what great car they were, they weren’t just the “Black Sheep”. But more of a cult following. With great handling (because of the lighter rear). And stunning looks they became very special and rare.
Feel Free to have the Car Inspected.
Update: The car will be done this week. Just ordered a set of 5 tires and a New Muffler.
