General Information
1982 Porsche 911 SC sunroof coupe in a rare color, Mocha Brown (Moccabraun, L451) with Beige and brown interior. This was a California car until around 1997 when the second owner transferred to Indiana for work.
With the car are the original owner’s manual and service book (documenting major services since delivery on 2/18/82) and all maintenance records since 1993. Three keys are included. Original tool kit and jack are included. Original Fuchs wheels have been restored (painted and polished), and Yokohama YK520 tires have approximately 9,000 miles.
The exterior is in very good condition. Car has been repainted once and paint is in very good condition (with a few minor blemishes) Rate a 8 out of 10. Good lines and gaps. All rubber seals and trim are in great condition (most, if not all, have been replaced). All glass is excellent. All gauges and lights function perfectly.
The interior of the car is also in very good condition. The front seats have been rebuilt and reupholstered (center inserts only). Headliner has been replaced. All carpet is original. Interior is complete with matching brown and tan CocoMats. There are two cracks in the dash, otherwise the interior is nearly perfect.
Mechanically, the car is in great condition. The engine pulls hard with very smooth acceleration. Transmission shifts very smoothly and had a new clutch installed at 134k miles.
Overall, I would consider the condition of the car to be very good and a Great Daily driver for someone. It looks and runs/drives more like a 75,000 mile car than a 164,000 mile car. Feel free to contact me for a Test Drive or Questions.
