US Carrera 2.7 (1974–1976)
Rare 1975 Porsche Carrera in One repaint in the original Special Order ‘Copper Brown Metallic’ two years ago with around 1,000 driven miles since. #343 With only 395 Built.
The Carrera built for the US market was powered by the same 2.7 liter engine as the 911S which produced 175 PS (129 kW; 173 hp).
For the 1974 model year the Carrera was available with the ducktail from the 1973 Carrera RS except for the German market. In the US market the ducktail was standard on the Carrera. For 1975 and 1976 model years the whaletail was available as an option on the Carrera. For 1976 a special run of 113 Carrera 2.7 coupes were built with the 911/83 RS engine. 20 targas were supplied to the Belgian police.
